Coffee. Ice Cream. Kindness.
All in one Nest.
Our Mission
Rooted in Kindness, Built for Community
At The Nest, everything begins with coffee.
We proudly serve double-shot espresso drinks crafted with intention and paired with thoughtfully sourced beans that bring people together. Whether you’re starting your morning, meeting a client, catching up with a friend, or enjoying a quiet moment alone — this is your space.
We built The Nest to feel welcoming, grounded, and real. A place where families gather, students study, businesses connect, and dogs are greeted with water bowls and treats at the door.
But we’re not just about coffee.
We’re about community.
A portion of our coffee sales supports local dog rescue efforts, and we partner with schools, businesses, and community organizations to give back wherever we can.
Because when you support The Nest, you’re supporting something bigger than a cup.
A place to gather, to connect, and to feel at home.
Baked with Love. Brewed with Purpose.
Built on Community.
The Nest isn’t about trends. It’s about timeless comfort done exceptionally well.

EXCELLENT Based on 163 reviews Posted on Walkin' PawsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found this gem of a cafe last summer when returning from a kayaking trip in Guelph. Their ice cream was phenomenal and SO many choices. Of course I had a triple cone with different flavours! Returned many times since then when my business services pet clients in the Breslau area. Always fresh coffee, amazing baked goods and super friendly staff. Trust me and try the Black Forest Mocha …you can thank me later! Plus they support the KWHS and are dog friendly. Truly an amazing small business that looks after their customers and community as well.Posted on Kierra CacciottiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Such a great spot! A lot of seating options which was great for getting some work done. Great quality coffee and amazing service. Will definitely be going back for their huge selection of ice cream.Posted on James JacksonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got recommended a Flat White Milkshake and it was amazing! The dairy free ice creams are also delicious. The owners are super friendly and lots of fun to chat with. They donate part of their cost to the humane society so you can support doggos by buying ice cream. My only disappointment is that despite having an LGBT+ flag in the window, they display Harry Potter themed Lego kits which support JK Rowling, it's a minor concern but something to note.Posted on Martin KunzeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The coffee is awesome. I regularly get a latte or a flat white. But the espresso is excellent 👌.Posted on Grant MillardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We visited yesterday and enjoyed the experience tremendously. Martin and Charlene, the Husband and Wife owners, made us feel very welcome and were happy to describe their 10 months of being open following years of thinking about opening their own cafe. Martin seems to be the baker and caffeinated beverage mad scientist (Ask him about his drinkable Black Forest cake.) while Charlene’s the expert on their extensive selection from multiple Ontario ice creameries. Both are passionate about the business and keen to brag. Their products are all Canadian with a single exception (ask Martin) and there just aren’t enough good things to say about their coffee. Double espresso shots give everything a solid base of deep flavour with an astonishing smoothness. I will leave it up to the owners to tell you everything about their coffee brand and the good they do supporting local animal shelters from those sales. This may be the finest coffee/espresso I have enjoyed. The location is convenient if you are travelling between Kitchener and Guelph and having their own parking lot makes a quick stop or a longer visit simplicity itself.Posted on Sarah KTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Nest really feels like home. Martin and Charlene are incredible owners who pour their entire hearts into this business and try to make everyone feel like they are a member of the family. The homemade goodies are soo delicious, the drink options are amazing and the selection of ice cream is impressive. I'd highly recommend anyone in the area to go see them and try it out for yourself...I'm sure you won't be disappointed!Posted on Terry WeberTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went there with the family of six , five of us enjoyed some ice cream. It was nice that they had so many dairy free options as our son is lactose intolerant. The owners were awesome and great to deal with. The Kids enjoyed all the Lego sets around the store. The couches were comfy and we all enjoyed her ice cream on them. We will all be back again thanks for the great experience such a nice family place.
